The Investiture Ceremony at Florence Institution is a solemn and proud occasion that marks the formal induction of student leaders for the academic year. During the event, the School Captain and the Vice-Captain are elected, taking their place as overall student leaders of the institution.
In addition, the newly elected House Captains of the four houses — Teresa House (Blue), Mariam House (Red), Francis House (Yellow) and Joseph House (Green) — are also entrusted with their duties as they receive their house flags and responsibilities from their respective House Mistresses. The ceremony reaches a defining moment as all captains take a collective oath, pledging to uphold the values, discipline and spirit of leadership and teamwork while being presented with badges of their office. This event fosters a strong sense of responsibility, commitment, confidence, leadership and integrity among the student body.
